• Techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of an assessment internally
• How to internally maintain and improve the quality of an assessment
• How to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of an assessment The legal and good practice requirements for the internal quality assurance of an assessment.

There are 2 assessment elements across the 1 unit.

• Assessment element 1 – Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
  • Written knowledge questions
• Assessment element 2 – Discussion covering the unit ‘Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment’ (optional – to be used if additional evidence is required)
