Overview
The purpose of this qualifications is to enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills and competence to plan, deliver and evaluate safe and effective Pilates sessions. Completing this qualification enables learners to access jobs instructing unsupervised Pilates sessions.
Qualification details
Learners will cover:
- Anatomy and physiology – specific to needs of exercise and health professionals
- How to programme a Pilates teaching session
- How to deliver a Pilates teaching session.
There are 10 assessment elements across the 6 mandatory units for this qualification:

- Health, Safety and Welfare in a Fitness Environment
- Know How to Support Clients Who Take Part in Exercise and Physical Activity
